WHAT IS LOOPY LORE?
Loopy Lore is a Co-op Storytelling game for 2-8 people where you and your friends tell crazy stories on the spot using the cards and your own imagination.
HOW DO WE WIN?
At the beginning of the game, the group comes up with the Ending of the story, which will be your goal. The objective is to reach said Ending by the Finale of the story (Final Chapter). This means the game can be as hard as you want. As long as you reach that Ending, you win the game!
HOW LONG TO PLAY?
Average session should be about 30-40 minutes long. Keep in mind that different Structures for your story will have different lengths of time.
WHAT STORIES WILL WE TELL?
The cards will give you a general direction but in the end, you are creating a Story from scratch, so it's entirely up to you where it goes. It can be serious, goofy, dramatic, laid back; the choice is yours.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO PLAY?
A full set of Loopy Lore cards (currently at 162 unique cards divided into 6 decks), the Structure Book and the Manual.
HOW DO WE PLAY?
Using the cards, you create your Plot, Main Characters and Ending. After that, choose a Structure (or create your own) and place the cards face down. Flip the a card and you have 30 seconds to elaborate on it without any input from other players. The game ends when the last card in the last chapter is used.
I DON’T THINK THIS IS FOR ME
We hear you loud and clear. That’s why our priority from the start has been to design Loopy Lore to make it enjoyable for everyone, including those who feel telling stories isn’t their strong suit. In Loopy Lore, cards exist to spark creativity, so take your time and remember to rely on your friends. They are there as your support.
